Experience

Receptionist | Gayle's DancePhase

Last year, I started working as a front office receptionist at my dance studio. This job entails a variety of tasks, including taking calls, navigating the studio directory, answering parents' and students' questions, as well as several other miscellaneous responsibilities. I also teach a couple recreational classes for young dancers. Working at Gayle's has benefited me by giving me experience dealing with people similar to customers or clients.

Babysitter

I have provided childcare to multiple families since my freshman year in high school. I have experience caring for newborns all the way through lower elementary aged children. One of the most challenging jobs I take on as a caregiver is supervising 12 kids at a time--with the help of my sister--for a group of parents during their bible study. These experiences have shown me what it is like to be responsible for someone other than myself. Babysitting has also taught me how to build parents' trust and make them feel comfortable leaving me in charge.
